Congratulations are in order for Mister Philippines Jupheter Franco for winning the Mister Continental World 2024 title in Thailand.

The licensed mechanical engineer and event host from General Santos City bested other candidates from different parts of the world during the 2024 CONWOR SHOW held on June 2 at Ocean Marina Resort in Pattaya.

Franco’s victory is a back-to-back win for the Philippines following the success of Richard Rey Gomez of Laguna in the same pageant during the 2023 edition.

Meanwhile, candidates from India and Thailand won first runner-up and second runner-up, respectively.

In an interview after the competition, the newly crowned Pinoy pageant king thanked all those who supported him on his journey.

“I’m just so, so happy right now. Having this experience in Thailand, just being here is already a win. And now, being your Mister Continental World 2024, I’m just very, very grateful to everyone supporting me,” Franco said.

“To the entire Team Philippines, to all my brothers, to the entire organization, I’m looking forward to be working with everyone. And I love you all. Thank you so much. Mabuhay, Pilipinas!” he added.

He also dedicated his success to the country in his latest post on social media.

“This journey has finally reached its end – with us bringing home this honor back to our homeland, the Philippines! [Philippine flag emoji],” Franco said in his Instagram post that came with a series of photos taken during the finals night.

“But this end is just the beginning of new opportunities. We will never know what the future holds, but I am now more than ready knowing that I have an army moving with me!” he went on.

“I hope you get the inspiration from my story to never give up on what you heart tells you to do – because the world can HEAR you, you just need to pray and work so hard so that the world will LISTEN TO YOU! Maraming salamat sa inyong lahat! MABUHAY PILIPINAS!” he concluded.

Franco has now joined the roster of Filipino male pageant titleholders who brought pride and honor to the Philippines.

The list includes Neil Perez who won Mister International 2014 in South Korea, Baron Andrews who clinched the Mister Star Model Universe 2018 crown in Peru, Yves Campos winner of the Mister Tourism and Culture Universe 2019 title in Myanmar, Mark Avila who bagged the Gentleman of the World 2019 crown in Indonesia.
