The 2024 MIFA HOF Lifetime Recognition honors 19 Fil-Ams who have consistently appeared in the annual MIFA 75, a list first introduced by BlogTalk 10 years ago. The recipients span a wide range of fields including media, fashion, music, film, sports, business, and public service. MJ Racadio credits Fritz Friedman, veteran publicist at Columbia and Sony Pictures, for conceptualizing the Hall of Famer, which debuted three years ago.

An advisory board oversees the selection process, recognizing individuals who use their influence to benefit communities while proudly representing their Filipino heritage. The board includes award-winning entertainment reporter MJ Racadio, Elton Lugay (Founder of TOFA), Ben Bulatao (6-time Emmy-nominated editor), and Moises ‘Jun’ Aglipay (from the Office of Assembly Member Mike A. Gipson).
The 2024 MIFA Hall of Famer announcement was made on October 25, 2024 (October 26, Philippine Standard Time), following the release of the latest MIFA 75 list a day earlier. “BlogTalk’s Hall of Famer: Lifetime Recognition continues to uplift Filipino culture globally. We are recognizing the achievements of the following Filipino Americans who inspired others and made a difference in our community by sharing their chosen fields,” Racadio said.
