Miss Philippines Jeanne Isabelle Bilasano raised the country’s flag in Taiwan by winning the crown at the recently concluded Face of Beauty International 2024 pageant.
The 25-year-old speech-language pathologist from Albay bested 38 other delegates from around the world during the grand finals held on September 19 in the city of Kaohsiung. Bilasano achieved the Philippines’ first-ever crown in this international beauty competition.
The Filipina beauty queen wowed the judges and the crowd with her poise, grace, and confidence in all of the segments. She took home not just the crown but also these major awards:
- Best in Swimwear
- Best in Evening Gown with her red dress
- Best in National Costume with her Cadena de Amor-inspired Filipiniana attire.
She cemented her victory during the question-and-answer portion with her award-winning definition of a strong independent woman.
“There are many definitions of strength for me. But I believe that the most fitting definition of a strong woman is somebody who knows her purpose and somebody who knows her core,” the Bicolana beauty stated.
“Because when somebody knows what they’re meant to do and what they want to do for the rest of their life, they’ll be able to pursue their dreams as long as they pursue their dreams and make sure that they leave a good mark in their communities as well. Thank you,” Bilasano concluded.

- Grand Winner – Jeanne Isabelle Bilasano, Philippines
- First Runner-up – Anita Wang, Taiwan
- Second Runner-up – Stephanie Fernandez, Colombia
- Third Runner-up – Sabne Lata Mailei, Tonga
- Fourth Runner-up – Warunchana Radomlek, Thailand
By winning the Face of Beauty International 2024 crown, Bilasano joined the list of Filipina beauty queens who brought pride and glory to the Philippines in the past months.
Samantha Gabronino of Bulacan also made history by being the first Filipina to win the Miss Grand Prix crown at the Miss Freedom of the World 2024 pageant held in Kosovo in June.
Another Bulakenya, Aletha Ambrosio, took home the Miss Supranational Asia and Oceania title in July during the Miss Supranational 2024 grand coronation held in Poland.
A few days ago, Juvyel Anne Saluta of Manila became the first Pinay to snag the Miss Elite world crown in Egypt.
