1Z Entertainment, the self-managed agency of the pioneering P-pop boy group sensation SB19, recently announced through their social media accounts that they are conducting auditions for a new girl group they are forming.
The audition is open to Filipino females aged 18 to 21 who are willing to learn and are talented in singing, rapping, dancing, and/or modeling.
1Z trainees will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced artists and mentors, participate in workshops and training sessions, and collaborate on various artistic projects.

According to the agency’s website, 1Z trainees will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced artists and mentors, participate in workshops and training sessions, and collaborate on various artistic projects.
How Do You Audition to be a 1Z Trainee?
For the initial screening, auditionees must complete an online form from the 1Z Entertainment website and submit a raw one-minute dance routine video and a raw one-minute vocal routine video of either singing or rapping.
The agency reminded applicants to submit high-quality videos in landscape orientation. Furthermore, only solo performances and only unlisted YouTube links of the video entries will be accepted.
Those who pass the initial screening will prepare for a face-to-face audition, performance assessments, and interviews.
Meanwhile, final deliberation and selection will be conducted by the audition team. Only those who receive a final call can proceed with the contract signing.
The application period began on June 8 and will remain open until June 29, 2024.
SB19’s 1Z Entertainment
It will be the first audition and training project of 1Z Entertainment, a company founded by Billboard Awards-recognized P-pop boyband SB19.
In October 2018, the Pinoy pop group debuted under ShowBT Philippines Corp. Composed of Pablo, Stell, Ken, Justin, and Josh, SB19 is the group behind the viral songs “MAPA,” “GENTO,” and “Go Up.”
In June 2023, during the launch of their PATATAG album, SB19 announced that they are already a self-managed group under 1Z Entertainment. Despite the trademark issue, they retained their group name and logo after reaching an “amicable agreement” with their former management.
1Z Entertainment emphasizes that under them, aspiring artists will have hands-on experience in a supportive and nurturing environment and will have an opportunity to develop their skills and gain valuable experience in a creative and dynamic setting.
