The first Filipino design collaboration between Swedish brand Hennes & Mauritz (H&M) and local fashion retailer Don’t Blame The Kids (DBTK) has resulted in a limited global streetwear collection now available in select stores.
The H&M x DBTK limited edition clothing line is modeled in the campaign video featuring Filipino artists singer-songwriter Adie, actress Andrea Brillantes, and Billboard chart-topping boyband BGYO.
The H&M x DBTK “The World is My Home” collection released in select H&M stores on September 8, 2022, carries the streetwear designs of Emil and Vince Javier of DBTK.
H&M Philippines country head manager, Frankie Shadbolt, said that they chose to partner with DBTK because it shares the same philosophy with their brand. He emphasized that the brothers of DBTK give importance to inclusivity and diversity, which H&M also upholds.
The Filipino brand shared that the alliance wants consumers to be in a place where they can grow and stay true to themselves.
The Filipino designers were given creative freedom in the design while both brands worked on making the alliance adhere to a consistent philosophy.

Both H&M and DBTK appease the streetwear market, making the tie-up sensational.

Given Pinoy fashionistas’ adoration of H&M fashion, the brand gives back to its Filipino market with this new design collaboration showcasing Filipino artistry and beauties like Nadine Lustre, the first Filipina Ambassador for H&M.
