Children’s educational program “AHA!” from Philippine television’s GMA Network has been named a finalist in this year’s prestigious Prix Jeunesse International Festival in Germany.
The popular infotainment show for Filipino children made it to the bi-annual festival’s list of finalists which were chosen from 400 entries worldwide.
“AHA!” is an info-magazine show hosted by Asian Academy-Award-winning Drew Arellano and showcases amazing facts, fun science trivia, and exciting experiments.
The Filipino program will represent the Philippines and compete amongst 97 finalists from 41 countries in the festival’s competition.
The Prix Jeunesse International Festival aims to promote, celebrate, and honor the highest quality in children’s and youth television. This year’s theme is “Listen to Kids TV: The Power of Sound.”
The Prix Jeunesse festival and competition will take place in Munich, Germany from June 10 to 15, 2022.
“AHA!” was given the Anak TV Seal for its educational content. The show airs Sundays at 8:15 a.m. on GMA Network.
