Ateneo Blue Eagles’ Kiefer Ravena and Dwight Ramos, UP Fighting Maroons’ Kobe Paras, and brothers Juan and Javi Gomez de Liaño are seeing action for the first time in the Japan Basketball League.
The Ateneo de Manila University and University of the Philippines standout cagers are playing as imports for their respective ball clubs in the opening day matches of both B1 and B2 divisions of the league scheduled on October 2, 2021.
In the B1 division, Kobe Paras of the Niigata Albirex and Javi Gomez de Liaño of the Ibaraki Robots see action in their respective matches scheduled at 1:05 pm (12:15 pm PST).
Kiefer Ravena of the Shiga Lakestars will face off with his brother Thirdy who is on his second season as the import of San-En NeoPhoenix in a showdown at 4:05 pm.
Dwight Ramos plays for the Toyama Grouses at 5:05 pm.
In the B2 division, Juan Gomez de Liaño plays for the Earthfriends Tokyo Z at 1:00 pm.
Kemark Cariño of the San Beda Red Lions plays for Aomori Wat’s also at 1:00 pm.
Bobby Ray Parks Jr. formerly of the National University Bulldogs will also debut with the Nagoya Diamond Dolphins at 5:05 pm.
The Japan B. League games will air in the Philippines through the TapDMV platforms: Tap Sports on cable TV and TAP GO live stream.
